Shift into vacation mode when you arrive at Arenal Springs Ecoresort, sip a drink on your private terrace while enjoying the exuberant tropical gardens and the best views of Arenal volcano. Relax this evening because tomorrow the adventures start in earnest.               Day 2 — White Water Rafting Río Balsa  Professional guides will navigate you through Class II and III rapids White Water Rafting on the Río Balsa. This is a great adventure for first time and experienced rafters alike. Hold on and enjoy the ride! Challenge yourself as you paddle through fun and safe rolling rapids with names like "Morning Coffee" and "Rock around the Croc" and then play around in tranquil river pools in an isolated rain forest river canyon! Lunch included. Day 3 — Caño Negro Wildlife Refugemore photos >>  Enjoy a jungle riverboat ride through the wilds of the Río Frío and ever changing seasonal Lago Caño Negro. The wetland refuge includes some of the best wildlife viewing anywhere in Costa Rica, protecting the breeding grounds of dozens of species of aquatic birds featuring three species of monkeys, both types of sloths, caiman (cousins of crocodiles) , turtles and even bull sharks. Lunch included. Day 4 — Hotel Villas Playa Samara (3 Nights) Villas Playa Samara is beachfront on the south end of Samara beach. Hotel amenities include swimming pool, jacuzzi, restaurant, bar, spa, and internet. Your garden view one bedroom villa will feature airconditioning and a fully equipped kitchen. Meals & drinks, both alcoholic & non-alcoholic included. Day 5 — Stand Up Paddle Boarding Lesson Stand Up Paddle Boarding on neighboring Playa Carrillo. SUP is much easier than surfing and you will be walking on water across the calm bay within minutes. No experience necessary on this 4 hour adventure which includes transportation, paddling instructions, guide, snack. Snorkeling, surf lessons or sea turtle nesting tour can be substituted at no additional charge. Day 6 — Explore Playa Samara and Carillo Heading north from the villas Samara beach is dotted with small restaurants, surf shops and bars until you reach the little village. Smaller waves are great for learning to surf or swimming. If you tire of the near perfect Samara, you can head one beach south to Carillo beach, considered most beautiful beach in Costa Rica by many residents. Day 7 — Adiós ¡Hasta Luego!  It all has to come to an end sometime, so enjoy one last dip in the pool and then we'll make sure you get to the international airport three hours prior to your flight home.
