Shift into vacation mode when you arrive at Arenal Springs Ecoresort, sip a drink on your private terrace while enjoying the exuberant tropical gardens and the best views of Arenal volcano. Relax this evening because tomorrow the adventures start in earnest.               Day 2 — Arenal Volcano Hike Arenal is the third most active volcano in the world and erupts every 5-10 minutes. Each eruption could be anything from a little ash to giant boulders and tons of lava and in the late afternoon a bilingual naturalist guide will lead you on a short hike through the rainforest to the closest safe observation point where you'll have a chance to view the glow emerge on the cone as the sun sets. Baldi Termale Hot Springs  After the thrill of Arenal rumbling and erupting you're in for a relaxing evening at Baldi Hot Springs enjoying the geothermally heated mineral waters as the volcano continues to rumble in the background. The kids area (big kids or little) features water slides while the adults can enjoy a more sedate romantic atmosphere and swim up bar. Between dips towel off and enjoy a leisurely buffet dinner (included). Day 3 — White Water Rafting Río Balsa  Today you have a choice between two activities on the water. Choose White Water Rafting on the Río Balsa and professional guides will navigate you through Class II and III rapids. This is a great adventure for first time and experienced rafters alike. Hold on and enjoy the ride! Challenge yourself as you paddle through fun and safe rolling rapids with names like "Morning Coffee" and "Rock around the Croc" and then play around in tranquil river pools in an isolated rain forest river canyon! Lunch included. Caño Negro Wildlife Refugemore photos >>  Or choose a jungle riverboat ride through the wilds of the Río Frío and ever changing seasonal Lago Caño Negro. The wetland refuge includes some of the best wildlife viewing anywhere in Costa Rica, protecting the breeding grounds of dozens of species of aquatic birds featuring three species of monkeys, both types of sloths, caiman (cousins of crocodiles) , turtles and even bull sharks. Lunch included. Day 4 — Hilton Doubletree Resort (3 Nights)  Next up, the All Inclusive Hilton Doubletree Resort, located along the Central Pacific coast of Costa Rica featuring comfortable guest accommodations with Sweet Dream beds. The resort offers several restaurants and bars, a variety of sparkling pools, Spa services, Discotheque, nightly entertainment and many daily activities including land and water sports. Meals & drinks, (both alcoholic & non-alcoholic), contemporary style rooms appointed with refreshing colors and balconies overlooking lush tropical gardens are all included.       Day 5 — Canopy Zipline Tour Central Pacific The canopy is where the action is; over 80% of tropical species are in the treetops and the rain forests in the mountains backing the central Pacific coast are the perfect place to take flight!. Pause on the platforms between the high speed zip cables to look where one of the team of guides is pointing out a pizote (coatimundi), sloth, mono carablanca (white-faced capuchin monkey), mot-mot, or chestnut mandibled toucan. Day 6 — Hilton Doubletree Resort Day! Privileged guests of the Hilton Doubletree Resort are treated to endless fun for both adults and children. Complimentary activities include Dance Class, Beach Volleyball, Non Motorized Water Sports (such as Kayaking and Boogie Boards), Tennis, Aerobics, Karaoke, Live Music and the Kids Club. Or you could always just kick back in the shade by the water with a cool drink (included of course) if just reading that list of activities exhausts you! Day 7 — Adiós ¡Hasta Luego!  It all has to come to an end sometime, so enjoy one last dip in the pool and then we'll make sure you get to the international airport three hours prior to your flight home.
