Costa Rica Backpackers has lawn chairs and hammocks surround a swimming pool in a walled rooftop garden, banks of computers that offer internet access 24/7, and a restaurant serves anything from nachos to Thai green curry.

The rooms downstairs are small and crowded together, and the walls are thin. The hostel is located in a nice neighborhood, 100 meters east of the Supreme Court building, on Avenida 6 between Calles 19 and 23, just three blocks from the National Museum. Airport pick-up available.
