Tucked 8 kilometers northwest of San Francisco de Coyote, in Playa San Miguel, the Flying Scorpion is a little hotel and restaurant that deserves mention mainly because it has the best homemade ice cream we have had anywhere. They make their own pasta, too, from the owner’s Italian grandmother’s recipes.
