The road from Cóbano intersects with the coastal road at Frank’s Place, just 200 meters from a good surfing spot. Over the years, Frank has studied what surfers need and provides good, clean, cheap rooms (shared or private bath, some a/c, cold water, some kitchens; $50-90, including breakfast) and a wide range of other possibilities, including a house (hot water, a/c, cable TV, refrigerator; $60-$70). His corner kiosk also has internet, phone and fax access, and a Sansa reservation center.
