They have a canopy tour and nature walks in their large tropical dry-forest reserve combed by trails. Punta Islita has a Blue Flag. Two and Seven night minimum stay depending upon the season.

If you decide to drive to Punta Islita, take a four-wheel-drive vehicle and consult with the management about the best route. Don’t expect to make it to Punta Islita from Carrillo in the rainy season. In the dry season you can drive all the way from Carrillo to Playas Santa Teresita and Malpais, near Cabo Blanco, if you have four-wheel drive and go at low tide.
