A great place to land when you first get off the plane. Rooms are set around a beautifully tended gardens that attract lots of birds. The owners, a Canadian family, help orient you and make sure you have a smooth trip. It’s near Zoo Ave in Alajuela’s Barrio San José, “de La Mandarina, cien metros al sur y cien al este.” Recommended.
