In the village of El Castillo, the conservatory has four large atria that represent the four ecosystems in the Arenal area and show how butterflies, frogs, insects and plants are reproduced for reintroduction to deforested lands. Sloths and monkeys can often be seen on a walk around Quebrada Mariposa, which runs through the property.
