One of our favorite places in town is the Swiss/Tica-owned Casa Verde famous for its very clean and nicely decorated rooms. There is a massage rancho, or you can venture behind the cabins to see the poisonous-frog collection. Laundry service, secure parking, money exchange, and a coffee shop are among the many services offered at the Casa Verde. Recommended.
