Secluded villas with wide balconies and a sunset ocean view set in a 12-acre nature reserve. It’s much closer to Biesanz beach than hotels nearer the road. Several rooms can be connected to sleep up to eight ($1050-$1400). No children under 16 allowed. Honeymoon packages available. Makanda’s Sunspot Grill (open 11 a.m. to 10 p.m.; 2777-0442) is the place to go for a romantic lunch or dinner. Lobster with saffron-garlic dipping sauce, wasabi tuna, and pork tenderloin with chipotle marinade are among the ever-changing dinner offerings. Recommended.
