Reasonably priced rooms and villas in all different sizes and configurations, some with kitchens. Some have patios and jungle views. Their restaurant (open daily, 7 a.m. to 10 p.m.) delivers delicious pizza, burgers, fish, Mexican and Tico specialties, salad, and homemade cake anywhere in the area. This is the home of Kids Saving the Rainforest, where you can buy the work of local artists. KSTR now has a wildlife sanctuary at the Mono Azul’s new sister hotel, the Blue Banyan Inn.
