La Posada Jungle Bungalows have the unique distinction of being located right next to the exit of Manuel Antonio National Park. The monkeys don’t seem to recognize the park boundaries so guests at this small, friendly lodge often are entertained by various forms of wildlife. The thatch-roofed bungalows are clean and comfortable and have porches with hammocks. Gathering places around the small pool and the breakfast patio make it easy to meet other guests. Breakfasts are generous, there’s a pizza restaurant, and movies are shown on Thursdays. It’s located next to the exit of the National Park, at the end of a bumpy unpaved street filled with cheap hotels.
