Due to the earthquake on January 8, 2009, the Peace Lodge and La Paz Waterfall Gardens is temporarily closed.

The guests and staff members of Peace Lodge and La Paz Waterfall Gardens were all very fortunate and sustained only a few minor injuries.


There is nothing ordinary about the Peace Lodge. The private stone terrace or balcony of each room has a hot tub with jacuzzi, from which you can gaze out over the billowing forest during the day, or stargaze at night. The focal point of the huge garden/bathrooms is a stone waterfall shower and another hot tub. The bedrooms have king or queen-sized beds, a gas fireplace, cable TV and a sound system. The two-story Monarch Villa, their honeymoon suite, has a kitchenette and a fireplace in the bathroom and the sleeping loft. Recommended.

Three nights stay minimum.
