If you would like a more sedate adventure, take the Rainforest Aerial Tram 2 kilometers northeast of Jacó. Nine-person gondolas glide silently on an electric cable while a naturalist guide tells you about the flora and fauna of the 225-acre reserve. The tour includes a heliconia garden, a medicinal plants garden and a snake exhibit in the middle of the forest.
